francisco 56. cooling off even with cloudy conditions santa rosa 54. and oakland right now 57. hi-def doppler is now showing a couple of very light showers moving onshore out to point reyes, santa rosa and healdsburg. you may get showers tonight and we'll be watching those showers moving in tomorrow especially and then also on wednesday. notice i'm saying showers and not rain. there's a reason for that. showers are just kind of intermitten not that heavy. rain is what you had yesterday and last friday and wednesday. i'm not expecting that this time. the atmosphere doesn't have as much water in it for this storm. an area of high pressure is building in off the southern california coastline taking the storm track, aimed right at us and moving it hundreds of miles to the north. very key because even an indirect hit makes a big change and we are not going to see that much rain from this particular system. so will we see rainfall? will all of us get more rain? we will starting tomorrow through wednesday but will it be a flood maker? no. heavy rainfall will stay away from this system. i
one. santa rosa had almost an inch of rain. there is heavier amounts toward the russian river. st. helena two-thirds of an inch. napa half inch of rain. kentfield only .18. and crockett had 15. things are a lot less. you can see some of that beginning to slide south. out of santa rosa area. heading from marin county toward the east bay. we had a couple reports of more moderate rains. especially around vallejo but it looks like that is moving through. concord right now highway 4 a little enhancement. back over toward east bay. little bit there. offshore you can see there is definitely some heading towards the city and san mateo coast. really mild. 50s and 60s. 63 balmy degrees in livermore. our whole system will plot along giving us a gray day with occasionally light rain and fog as we said. temperatures on the mild side. nothing too heavy here. maybe some of the higher elevations. 60s on the temps. this is it for this pattern. things will change or dry out. you'll have to deal with a ton of fog nights and mornings thursday and friday. >>> a brazen theft got a christmas tree lot th

. santa rosa 8 mi. of visibility there is pretty intense. a mile for the livermore valley. drive with extra caution be mindful of the cars in front of you. the good news is the fog will clear up into the afternoon your temperatures are in the '60s. everyone hovering around 61 degrees that is for santa clara mount view, fremont. 62 and lost cause. the same story to the east bay fairfield 61. 64 for pleasanton. 62 in the hayward area. fog in the north bay mainly sunny skies later today. 58 for san francisco. 59 in san bruno. your rainfall totals over the past five days looks like we have gone over 7 in. of rain for the sonoma airport, a san raphael. a lot of rain fell in the north bay. san jose flirting with two and one-half inches. satellite and radar shows cloud cover streaming into the bay area that is all in advance of the next system. we are not saying much rain by 9:00 a.m. tomorrow maybe and sprinkle up around santa rosa. light rain anticipated for napa, vallejo around the rich and san rafeal bridge. as we put the clock into motion it will not be until later that night we wi
